Irogue Igbinosa, MD

Irogue Igbinosa is a physician-scientist that specialized in Maternal-Fetal Medicine and board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She obtained her BS in Biology from the University of Houston (Texas) and completed her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. She is interested in investigating the optimal prenatal management to improve the treatment of anemia in pregnancy and address how it contributes to racial disparities in severe maternal morbidity and mortality. Dr. Igbinosa utilizes a multipronged scientific methodological approach to not only address research questions with clinical trials but incorporate conceptual frameworks of incorporating community and patient stakeholders to tackle racial and ethnic health disparities.
