Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility Fellowship

The educational program in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at Stanford University is a three year program intended to prepare trainees for academic careers by providing structured training in basic laboratory and clinical research, experience as a teacher in postgraduate education, and the opportunity to develop additional subspecialty clinical skills. The program is designed for those seeking eligibility to take the examinations for sub specialty certification of special qualification given by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Candidates must, therefore, have completed an accredited residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Individuals who wish to qualify for Board certification must obtain prior approval of their programs from the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Application process

Applicants should submit online applications through ERAS. Our program and our candidates will be matched through the NRMP system.

Interviews by invitation only typically in August.

Virtual Interviews only. Details to follow after the acceptance of interview invitation.

Our program requires submission of curriculum vitae, personal statement including a description of career goals, all CREOG scores, medical school transcript, and at least three letters of recommendation from residency and research mentors. Please email a PDF of CREOG's to Tracy Lindsay.

Fellowship training start date August 1, 2026.

Offering a program with a balanced education in all aspects of reproductive medicine

Visiting Residents

The REI program at Stanford offers one month visiting rotations to all ACGME accredited residents, typically during the July – December months. We cannot accept rotations from international residents. All requests should be sent to Tracy Lindsay at tracyl@stanford.edu. Please include your CV and two or 3 objectives for the rotation for review by the committee, and also your preferred dates for the rotation. Please note that all visiting resident slots for 2024-2025 have been filled.
