The Obstetrics & Gynecology Mentorship and Coaching Program launched in fall 2023 and is designed to develop mentors with coaching skills and to build meaningful partnerships among faculty. We offer individualized mentorship plans infused with coaching training, skill building, and group activities to foster a sense of camaraderie among current and upcoming leaders. Each paired relationship focuses on identifying overall goals, pinpointing specific challenges, and recognizing indicators of progress. Participants collaboratively measure success by defining expected and alternative outcomes while assessing their current states and checking for overlapping objectives. We keep connections strong through monthly newsletters, unique "Tips" slides and a regular schedule of in-person and virtual presentations featuring valuable resources and insights. We actively adapt to participant feedback obtained through evaluations and listening tours to ensure ongoing program effectiveness. Future plans include program expansion and activities that support participant growth and development.
