OB Simulation Program

Stanford's OB Simulation Program provides labor and delivery teams with a safe way to practice emergency situations. The OB Sim staff creates realistic scenarios designed to teach obstetric teams the technical, behavioral and communication skills necessary for optimal performance when faced with a real life emergency situation.

Grand Rounds

Grand Rounds, led by Kate Shaw, MD MS, Associate Chair of Education, hold sessions on non-holiday Mondays, September through June. These lectures are open to community physicians, but are closed to the general public.

For more information, please visit the School of Medicine's Seminar Calendar.

Didactics

The residents are provided with four hours of protected teaching time every Monday from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. including Grand Rounds, M+M conference, and didactics/simulations. Topics are designed to cover the full breadth and depth of OBGYN and it subspecialties.
